BMO Insurance Launches SmartApp – A Secure, Easy and Fast Application Process for Advisors
  • Reduces new business cycle time
  • Features include: eSignature, practice applications and no-cost temporary death benefit
  • Supports Face-to-Face Term and Critical Illness insurance applications

TORONTO, October 30, 2017 – BMO Insurance today announced the launch of SmartApp, an electronic application for advisors to prepare quotes and submit insurance applications online.

SmartApp is an intuitive, flexible and secure way for advisors to submit insurance applications directly to BMO Insurance. It helps advisors identify missing information and make changes using the built-in edits, giving them confidence that they’re submitting complete and accurate applications. SmartApp can help reduce new business cycle times and underwriting decisions can be made sooner, providing a better experience for both clients and advisors.

With SmartApp, advisors can:

  • Electronically submit applications to BMO Insurance using any personal computer or tablet device
  • Manage e-signatures both in-person and remotely through a secure email link
  • Protect clients with a free Temporary Accidental Death Benefit of up to $1 million dollars while they are being underwritten
  • Explore the features of SmartApp and get comfortable using a practice application
  • Increase workflow efficiency through personalized dashboards
  • Advisors not contracted by BMO Insurance can use SmartApp with a temporary ID and password
