BMO Bank of Montreal’s Gander ABMs should be Fully Functional by Monday Two ABMs being installed at temporary branch on Elizabeth Drive  

BMO Bank of Montreal today announced that two new ABMs are being installed at its temporary branch at 61 Elizabeth Drive in Gander and should be available to customers by Monday, December 13.

BMO staff are present at the new branch to respond to specific customer needs, including individual cash deposits and bill payments as well as commercial account deposits. Full banking services will be restored gradually by the week of December 20.

BMO will assume all service charges incurred by customers who have had to use the ABMs of other banks while its ABMs were unavailable. Customers are advised to keep all receipts relating to charges incurred and present them at the Elizabeth Drive branch.

"We wish to assure our customers that their safety deposit boxes and records are safe and secure," said Jack Hillyard, Vice-President for Newfoundland & Labrador at BMO Bank of Montreal. "Our customers have been very patient and I want to thank them for their understanding and support. They've just been great!"
