BMO Bank of Montreal Adds Simplified Chinese Character Glossary to Its Online Banking Service
BMO Bank of Montreal's online banking service is becoming even more accessible to customers from Mainland China with the addition of a new glossary that features a comprehensive list of banking terms and their simplified Chinese character equivalent.
"The Simplified Chinese Character Glossary for online banking customers will help our Mainland Chinese customers to navigate BMO's online banking services more effectively," said Peggy Sum, Senior Vice-President, Asian Market, BMO Bank of Montreal.
"The better we can communicate with our customers, the better we will be able to provide the correct financial solutions for their needs," said Ms. Sum. "The new Simplified Chinese Character Glossary will help those Chinese who are perhaps new to the country to find the information they are looking for."
In addition to the new Simplified Chinese Character Glossary, the BMO online banking site also provides a Traditional Chinese Character Glossary and a Korean Glossary.
Customers who wish to find the nearest BMO Bank of Montreal branch with Chinese speaking staff can call BMO's Chinese Info-Service Hotline at 1-800-665-8800 for information provided in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
