BMO Financial Group today announced that it will donate $150,000 to support relief efforts in South Asia following the earthquake of October 8, 2005.

BMO Financial Group will make a corporate contribution to the Canadian Red Cross of $100,000. It will also match contributions from its employees to the Canadian Red Cross up to $50,000, for a total corporate donation of $150,000.

To help those wishing to make a contribution, donations to the Canadian Red Cross can be made at any BMO Bank of Montreal branch. A list of BMO Bank of Montreal branches can be found at www.bmo.com by clicking the ‘locate us’ link at the top of the web page.
