    Call for Volunteers for the BMO Bank of Montreal Vancouver Marathon

    Richard Rudderham, Senior Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal, B.C., will be running today, Friday, March 24th to all of BMO's downtown branches to hand deliver Vancouver Marathon posters to kick-off BMO's branch promotion and to rally employees around participating in the BMO Bank of Montreal Vancouver Marathon.

    Richard will be joined for the 6 kilometre run today by other Team BMO runners, including wheelchair participant, Meredith Jenkins.

    The BMO Bank of Montreal Vancouver Marathon, a community-based and locally organized event, is issuing a Call for Volunteers. Some 2,000 volunteers are required for the Marathon to host the 15,000 participants on Sunday, May 7th.

    BEST PHOTO OPS:

    Asian Banking Centre Branch (168 East Pender St.) -- 10:00 a.m. arrival at BMO Branch in Chinatown of Richard Rudderham (Dancing Lion will greet and send off Richard and other runners joining him in the run).

    VancouverMain Office Branch (Pavilion, corner of Dunsmuir & Burrard) -- 11:45 a.m. final stop at Vancouver Main Office Pavilion, (running east on W. Georgia and north on Burrard)

    12:00 p.m. pep rally at the Vancouver Main Office Branch.
