BMO Investments Inc. today announced that on October 2, 2006, it revised its investment strategies for BMO Global Monthly Income Fund to allow the fund to invest up to 100 per cent of the purchase cost of its assets in securities of other mutual funds. This will allow for greater flexibility in achieving optimal asset allocation across asset classes of global stocks and bonds.
Previously, the BMO Global Monthly Income Fund could not hold other mutual funds as a strategy to achieve its objective.
The reported performance returns on the fund, net asset values of units of the fund and all other financial information relating to the fund are not affected.
