BMO Financial Group has received an Award of Excellence for Corporate Reporting in the Financial Services industry sector, at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' (CICA) Corporate Reporting Awards luncheon yesterday. This is the third year in a row that BMO has won the award.

BMO received the highest average ranking scores in all categories: financial/annual reporting, electronic disclosure, corporate governance disclosure and sustainable development reporting.

BMO also won the Award of Excellence in Financial Reporting, which is presented to the best annual report among the 90 submissions judged, regardless of industry sector.

The CICA Corporate Reporting Awards recognize excellence in financial and corporate reporting in Canada. Awards are given to companies which have demonstrated leadership in financial reporting, electronic disclosure, corporate governance disclosure and sustainable development reporting.

BMO is a recognized leader for its financial disclosure and corporate governance. This is the 13th time in 14 years that BMO has received an award from the CICA recognizing its corporate reporting.
