BMO Bank of Montreal Opens New $1.2 Million Branch in SaskatoonBMO grows its retail branch presence in University Heights

BMO Bank of Montreal today officially opened a new branch at 409 Ludlow Street in University Heights, a fast growing residential, recreational and shopping area in East Saskatoon. The new $1.2 million full-service branch replaces the former Sutherland Bank of Montreal branch that was located at 804 Central Avenue.

“Several years ago BMO anticipated the need for a branch presence in the University Heights area. Today, we are excited to open a new state-of-the-art facility to serve this growing community and to offer our customers personalized financial solutions and greater convenience that includes Saturday banking,” said Ken Segboer, Vice President, Saskatchewan, BMO Bank of Montreal.

The new 5,000 sq. feet branch features an expanded staff of 15 banking and investment professionals, including personal banking managers, a financial planner, a mortgage specialist and a BMO Nesbitt Burns investment advisor.

“We're committed to delivering personalized financial solutions and a superior banking experience to our customers during each and every branch visit as well as through all the access channels to our products and services,” said Mr. Segboer.

Customers will enjoy the convenience of two Instabank automated banking machines, including one drive-through ABM, ample free parking, and full wheelchair accessibility.

Branch expanded hours of operation are:

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays to Wednesdays;
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays;
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays;
And 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
