BMO Bank of Montreal Names Three New Vice-Presidents to its Quebec Leadership Team

BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the appointment of three new vice-presidents, Personal and Commercial Banking, to its seven-member Quebec leadership team.

Nadine Girault has been appointed Vice-President, Downtown Montreal, Helen Tyros has been appointed Vice-President, Montreal Metropolitan, and Mario Rigante has been appointed Laval and Northwest Quebec. BMO has also recently established an executive position to oversee the Bank's commercial banking operations in the Montreal Metropolitan Area under the leadership of Victor Pellegrino.

“I am extremely pleased that we were able to fill these highly strategic positions with skilled internal leaders such as Victor Pellegrino and Mario Rigante while attracting proven executives known for their customer commitment and ability to exceed performance targets, said Fran�ois Hudon, Senior Vice-President, Quebec Division, BMO Bank of Montreal.

With an MBA in Financial Services from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Nadine Girault has more than 20 years experience in sales management. She has worked for Royal Bank of Canada and Mouvement Desjardins where she was Regional Vice-President, Group Retirement Sales and Service, Atlantic Provinces, Ontario and Western Canada prior to joining BMO. Helen Tyros has 22 years experience at TD Canada Trust, including as District Vice-President and most recently as Associate Vice-President, Sales, Service & Human Resources, Quebec.

Mario Rigante is completing an MBA at Dalhousie University and has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry. He was Personal Banking Area Manager at BMO Bank of Montreal and recently occupied the position of Senior Manager, Training, for BMO's Quebec Division.

Victor Pellegrino has more than 20 years experience with BMO, primarily in commercial banking. By creating the position of Vice-President Commercial Banking, Montreal Metropolitan, BMO clearly indicates the importance of providing small and medium-sized enterprises in the Montreal area with a full range of banking products and services, as well as a full suite of integrated commercial and capital markets products and financial advisory services. BMO Bank of Montreal is the second leading small business lender in Canada.

Ms. Tyros, Ms. Girault and Mr. Rigante are very active in the community. Ms. Tyros is President of the Metropolitan Montreal Hellenic Board of Trade and serves on the boards of Centraide and the Montreal Board of Trade while Ms. Girault is a former director of the Fondation de l'H�pital Jean Talon and Sport Montreal.
Mario Rigante is on the board of EPOC Montreal and is Vice-chairman of BMO Fountain of Hope, the charitable employee foundation of BMO Financial Group.

The new appointments follow the retirement of Marie-Th�r�se Neklawi and Pierre Beauchamp, and the election of Nicole M�nard as MNA for Laporte in the last provincial election. Also, Pierre Bergeron who was Vice-President for Laval and Northwest Quebec will now assume the vice-presidency of BMO's South-Eastern Quebec District.
