With a $4.5 million investment BMO Bank of Montreal Increases Access for Customers with Opening of a Second Branch in Sainte-Dorothe

BMO Bank of Montreal has opened the doors of its second branch in Sainte-Dorothe. Located at 23 Samson Boulevard West, the new branch represents an investment of $4.5 million.

Customers will be welcomed from Monday to Saturday by more than a dozen experienced professionals and investment specialists. “We are committed to delivering personalized financial solutions and a superior banking experience to each of our customers, not only when they visit the branch but also when they use the various other ways of accessing our products and services,” said branch manager Maryse Filion.

“This major investment is further proof of our commitment to the Sainte-Dorothe and the Laval region and our desire to develop business relationships in the community with individuals as well as small and medium-sized companies,” said Mario Rigante, Vice-President, Laval and Northwest Quebec, BMO Bank of Montreal. “We are proud to be able to expand our presence with these two branches and offer increased access to a full range of investment and retail credit products.

“Our objective is to demonstrate to our customers that we are the only financial institution they will ever need, and I know that we have the employees, products, services and locations to prove it to them every day,” Mr. Rigante continued. “Our customers can be sure they will be met by a professional who is ready to have with them a meaningful discussion that starts and ends with their needs.”

The new two-story branch brings together a full complement of friendly and knowledgeable staff, including:

  • Experienced financial services managers who meet with customers in welcoming private offices to advise them on made-to-measure financial solutions;
  • Customer service representatives specializing in day-to-day transactions;
  • Commercial Services account manager;
  • An on-site mortgage loan specialist, who will help them buy or finance a home; and
  • Wealth management and investment services provided by one of the branch's financial planners.

Making financial services accessible is a key strategy of this large (5,300 square feet on two floors), modern branch, as is shown by:

  • Extended branch hours (Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.);
  • A drive-through automated banking machine located outdoors on the side of the building and an Instabank Extra ABM located inside. Both are accessible 24 hours a day and have a flexible keypad security shield and special viewing screen to increase privacy and prevent customers' personal information from been viewed by others;
  • Accessibility for persons with disabilities; and
  • Easily accessible parking for customers.

Inaugurated seven years ago, the BMO In-Store branch in March Crevier IGA, located 1 kilometre away at 550, Desserte West, on Highway13, is open seven days a week: weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Invitation to the general public
The official inauguration of this brand new BMO Bank of Montreal branch will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2007. It will be a festive affair, as many families are expected to attend the barbecue hosted by BMO staff and featuring a favourite friend of children and their parents, Annie Brocoli, who will take part in an autograph and photo session between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

What's more, BMO is the principal partner in the 2007 BMO Bank of Montreal Dream Home, which is located in Sainte-Dorothe and will raise more than $1 million for organizations that work with sick and underprivileged children. BMO is also the principal partner of the Association de soccer de Laval for three years.
