BMO Bank of Montreal is donating more than $75,000 to local organizations to celebrate the grand opening of its new full-service branch in Brantford, Ontario. The donation will help fund an MRI machine at the Brantford General Hospital and help to build a new state-of-the-art three-storey cultural centre in North Paris located in Brant County. The cultural centre will provide residents with a place to come together and enjoy arts, theatre, workshops and other community events.

The donations will also support the Brantford Symphony Orchestra and United Way of Brant.

In addition to BMO's donation, employees will donate toward the MRI campaign through BMO's Employee Charitable Foundation on behalf of a colleague who recently passed away from cancer.
