Waverley Nova Scotia Business Wins National ContestBUCORIM Inc. owner wins Grand Prize of $15,000 in BMO Mosaik MasterCard for Business Contest

Waverley business owner Regina Abbott received an unusual Valentines Day message – unusual because it came from her bank! Ms. Abbott is the Grand Prize winner of BMO Mosaik MasterCard for Business contest; she visited BMO Bank of Montreal's Spring Garden and Queen Branch today to pick up her $15,000 grand prize.

Ms. Abbott incorporated her company, BUCORIM Inc., last September and has been working on it part-time while teaching courses at the Nova Scotia Community College. She is looking forward to using the prize as seed money to help her as she engages full-time in her business this spring. BUCORIM offers conference and consulting services for risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery targeting Small Medium Enterprises. For more information visit www.bucorim.com.

Ms. Abbott's name was drawn from all the businesses across Canada that have opened a MasterCard account with the bank between October 14, 2007 through November 30, 2007. In a ceremony at the branch today, BMO Bank of Montreal Nova Scotia Vice-President, Mike Bonner presented Ms. Abbott with a credit of $15,000 to her Mosaik MasterCard for Business account.

Ms. Abbott applied for her Mosaik MasterCard for Business to take advantage of unique features that would help reduce the time and expense of tracking her business purchases and provide her hassle free access to credit. Ms. Abbot admits she is also a big AIR MILES reward miles collector and liked the fact that she could consolidate her personal and business AIR MILES reward miles to redeem even faster with the AIR MILES Reward Program which offers a comprehensive choice of more than 800 redemption items.

“I do all of my personal banking with BMO and I'm an avid AIR MILES collector, so it seemed quite natural to look to my bank for a business solution as well,” said Ms. Abbott. “I have to admit the $15,000 is an unexpected but very welcome surprise, this will certainly help get my business going!”

“As the largest Canadian issuer of MasterCard for Business, BMO Bank of Montreal recognizes and understands that the business payment needs of today's small business customer goes above and beyond traditional bank services,” said Mr. Bonner. “Our Mosaik MasterCard for Business account provides a customer-managed solution that offers a choice of basic to more advanced reporting tools that suit the needs of businesses today and tomorrow.”
