New $1.8 Million BMO Bank of Montreal Branch Opens in Prince AlbertExpanded premises and larger contingent of professional staff on site will enhance the banking and investing experience for BMO customers

BMO Bank of Montreal today opened a new 7,600 square foot personal and commercial banking branch in Prince Albert, with convenient features such as ample free parking, a drive-through ABM and additional private offices for improved customer service.

The new branch located at 500 – 801, 15th Street East, is part of Cornerstone, a major retail and commercial development project. It replaces the Main Office and 2nd Ave & 28th Street branches which have been merged with the 15th Street branch to accommodate BMO's growing customer base in Prince Albert with more office space for private consultations and an expanded complement of banking and investment professionals in a new and larger branch.

Branch manager Rita Stanley said that with a team of some 30 personal and commercial banking and investment professionals now gathered under one roof BMO is readily able to offer a full range of financial advice and support to its existing customers as well as the many new BMO customers it continues to welcome from the community each and every day. “We're thrilled that we could bring employees from our downtown, 2nd and 28th Street branches to work out of our new location,” said Mrs. Stanley. “Our business is built on the wonderful relationships that we have forged with our neighbours, friends and partners throughout the community over many years and our customers will be happy to know that those same friendly faces will be on hand to welcome them to our new location.

“We are committed to providing every one of our customers with the best banking experience possible,” said Mrs. Stanley. “To demonstrate our commitment we are offering customers $100 when they invest a minimum of $5,000 at the BMO Prince Albert Branch between May 15 and July 2, 2008.”

“Our customers can be sure they will be met by a knowledgeable professional who will sit down and help them understand our products and services, so they can confidently make the right decisions with their money,” added Mrs. Stanley.

“The brand new Prince Albert branch demonstrates our commitment to meeting the current and growing needs of our customers in Prince Albert and the surrounding region,” said Ken Segboer, Vice-President, Saskatchewan, BMO Bank of Montreal.

Customers will benefit from:

  • A highly experienced team of in-house experts – including personal and commercial banking managers, financial services representatives, a financial planner, and a BMO Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor;
  • Three Instabank automated banking machines (ABM), including a drive-through ABM;
  • Extended hours – from Monday to Saturday;
  • Private offices for client conversations regarding their personal, commercial and investment banking needs;
