Media Advisory/ Photo Opportunity BMO Celebrates Grand Reopening of Chinatown Branch

TORONTO, May 29, 2008 – On Saturday, May 31st, BMO Bank of Montreal will celebrate the grand reopening of its newly renovated branch at the corner of Dundas St. and Spadina Ave. in Toronto. The festivities include a traditional Chinese Lion Dance performance. BMO invites all of its customers and neighbours to drop by for complimentary refreshments and cake, to take a tour of the expanded new premises and enjoy the performances.

The branch renovation represents an investment of nearly $2 million. More than 4100 square feet have been added to the branch's reconfigured floor plan so that customers can enjoy more comfortable private meetings with a full complement of professional advisors and financial experts. The branch has 24 staff members, 23 offices and an elevator for convenience. Languages spoken at the branch include English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

“BMO is firmly committed to the Asian community which is reflected in our specialized services, donations and the investment of nearly $2 million for this branch in Chinatown,” said BMO Bank of Montreal Branch Manager, Bellie Leung. “Our goal is to provide our customers with exceptional service and a positive banking experience each and every time they walk through our doors.”
