CALGARY, June 11, 2008 – On Saturday, June 14th, BMO Bank of Montreal will celebrate the grand opening of its new branch in the Creekside Shopping Centre at 12432 Symons Valley Road NW, Calgary. The festivities include a BBQ, children's entertainment and a chance to win Calgary Flames merchandise and AIR MILES reward miles. BMO invites all of its customers and neighbours to drop by for complimentary food and refreshments, to take a tour of the new premises and to meet the staff.
BMO Financial Group and its employees are presenting a gift of $417,000 to the United Way Calgary Chapter. The employees through the BMO Employee Charitable Foundation pledged donations totalling $307,000 for the year. BMO Bank of Montreal and its employees also proudly support several other community non-profit organizations including Kids Help Phone, women's shelters and youth soccer.
At 5300 square feet, the branch represents an investment of $1.3 million. Led by branch manager, Ravi Sull, BMO has 15 financial professionals offering the full range of personal and commercial products and services.
