BMO Bank of Montreal names Rob Serraglio as Senior Vice-President, BC DivisionDistrict Vice Presidents appointed for Vancouver Centre, Vancouver Suburban and Vancouver Island

VANCOUVER, June 25, 2008 – BMO Bank of Montreal continues its focus on customer service with its recent announcement of executive appointments in British Columbia.

Rob Serraglio is named Senior Vice-President, BC Division, responsible for the performance of over 3,000 financial professionals who serve customers through BMO's network of 143 branches in BC and the Yukon.

Reporting to Rob Serraglio are three newly appointed executives in BC. Joanne Gassman is appointed Vice-President, Retail Banking, Vancouver Suburban District. She was previously Vice-President, Vancouver Island. Michael Suzuki assumes the position of Vice-President, Retail and Commercial Banking, Vancouver Island. He was promoted from his role as Commercial Banking Area Manager, Vancouver Island District. Jennifer Muench is promoted to Vice-President, Retail Banking, Vancouver Centre District. She was previously Personal Banking Area Manager for downtown Vancouver.

Mr. Serraglio has a deep knowledge and extensive experience in personal and commercial banking having worked over 33 years at BMO, including the last 11 in executive positions. Prior to his appointment, he was Vice-President, Retail Banking for the Greater Vancouver District.

Richard Rudderham, Senior Vice-President for BC Division over the past four years, has been appointed Senior Vice-President for BMO Financial Group's Institute for Learning in Toronto. Mr. Rudderham is responsible for developing and delivering BMO's overall learning strategy aligned with the bank's business objectives for its 37,000 employees.
