Media Advisory“Shop ‘til it Stops” at Winners and HomeSense on May 7th and help to end violence against women
TORONTO,
      May 6, 2009 – The Canadian Women's Foundation, in
      partnership with Winners and HomeSense and BMO Financial Group, is holding
      a cross-Canada “Shop ‘til it Stops” sales event on Thursday
      May 7th. A percentage of all purchases made at Winners and HomeSense on
      this day will be donated to “Shelter from the Storm”, Canada's
      largest national fundraising and awareness campaign dedicated to ending
      violence against women. And when shoppers pay with their BMO MasterCard� an
      additional percentage will be donated to the campaign. 
      Funds raised will support more than 450 shelters for abused women and
        their children across Canada and community violence prevention programs
        that are breaking the cycle of abuse.
