MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 4, 2010 - BMO Bank of Montreal invites members of the community, including new and existing customers, to celebrate the grand opening of its relocated branch at 7050 St. Barbara Blvd. on Saturday, June 5, 2010. The branch is two kilometres from its original location in Meadowvale Village.

"We have relocated our branch staff and operations so customers can be sure they will be met by many of the same friendly, knowledgeable banking professionals who are dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience in ten languages," said Tariq Ahmed, Branch Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal.

"As Canada's sixth largest city, Mississauga is also one of the most diverse cities in the world. With thousands of new Canadians arriving each year, BMO has made welcoming and supporting this market a priority. We recently launched a new banking package for newcomers to Canada which includes free banking and a free small safety deposit box for one year," Mr. Ahmed added.

Personal banking staff, including mortgage specialists, are prepared to help bring clarity to financial decisions for customers in Mississauga and can discuss options such as BMO's five-year fixed mortgage now at 4.25 per cent. Since being introduced earlier this year, this low-rate mortgage has remained the best in the market.

"BMO is committed to helping Canadian homeowners pay off their mortgage sooner and save thousands of dollars in interest," said Mary Sisco, Personal Banking Area Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal. "Higher interest rates may leave homebuyers feeling that they have missed the chance to take advantage of historically low rates, but now is a great time to come in to the new branch and get locked-in at BMO's guaranteed low rate."
