BMO Bank of Montreal Relocates Its Saint John Main Branch to CenterBeam Place

- New state-of-the-art BMO branch represents a $4.7 million investment into the community

- BMO returns to historic location

SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwire - July 12, 2012) - BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the official relocation of its main branch in Saint John to CenterBeam Place, at 2 King Street, effective on Monday, July 16. BMO operated from 1877 to 1971 on the corner of King & Prince William Streets, prior to moving to 15 Market Square where BMO will cease its operations on July 13 at noon.

"BMO is currently the number one small business lender in Atlantic Canada and we have made an additional $10 billion available to businesses in Canada," added Mrs. Hakomaki, inviting small business owners and entrepreneurs to visit the new branch and to meet with BMO commercial experts.

The new 7,000 square feet Saint John Main Branch is designed to provide a superior banking experience through a variety of financial services and conveniences. It features:

  • A staff of 24 financial experts, including BMO Nesbitt Burns, BMO Harris Private Banking and Small Business Banking representatives, available under one roof;
  • Access to commercial banking services on the 2nd floor, including account and deposit services;
  • Two ATMs; and
  • Barrier-free access.

The new Saint John Branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
