BMO Capital Markets Hosts 13th Annual Back-to-School Education Conference

Media are invited to attend this annual event showcasing a number of leading companies in the for-profit education industry

NEW YORK, NEW YORK--(Marketwired - Aug. 29, 2013) - BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (TSX:BMO)(NYSE:BMO), will hold its 13th annual Back-to-School Investor Education Conference on September 12, 2013, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.

Education is the second largest component of the U.S. economy and is expected to generate roughly $1.32 trillion in spending this year. The market, currently facing the headwinds of a struggling economy and sluggish enrollment, touches virtually every family in the U.S.

"We believe it's crucial to understand the key drivers of spending within this sector and what the future may hold," said conference host Jeffrey Silber, Senior Equity Research Analyst, BMO Capital Markets.

The conference, the largest and longest-running institutional investor conference focused exclusively on the education sector, will showcase leading companies in the for-profit education industry and will attract the industry's leading institutional investors and specialists. Panel discussions will focus on a wide range of topics, from education technology and so-called "edrupters" to international expansion.

"We are pleased to welcome leading representatives from more than 70 public and private education companies who are scheduled to present at this year's conference, making it our largest education conference to date and a must-attend event for the industry," said Mr. Silber.

More than 100 senior executives from leading for-profit education companies will participate including:*
