- More than 84 per cent of BMO employees supported campaign through donations along with volunteering their time at hundreds of community charities
TORONTO, ONTARIO and CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Marketwired - March 11, 2014) - The 2013 BMO Employee Giving Campaign set new records for both donations and participation, with BMO and more than 39,000 of its employees raising more than $22,060,000 for local United Ways and other charities across North America. Further, BMO employees volunteered at hundreds of charities in communities across Canada and the U.S.

In recognition of the Campaign's success this year, United Way Toronto, United Way Calgary, United Way of Central Alberta and United Way of the Fraser Valley each presented BMO with Spirit Awards in the financial services category. The awards recognize individuals, teams, campaigns and organizations that conduct best-in-class campaigns and offer outstanding support to United Way.
