BMO Adds Industry Veteran to Lead Energy Group's U.S. A&D Team

HOUSTON, TEXAS--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2015) - BMO Capital Markets, the investment & corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (NYSE:BMO)(TSX:BMO), is pleased to announce the hire of Geoff Roberts to lead its U.S. Acquisitions and Divestitures practice, part of BMO's Global Energy group.

As Head, U.S. Acquisitions and Divestitures, Mr. Roberts will work closely with the global energy investment and corporate banking teams, as well as the A&D teams in Calgary and London that collectively have expertise in over 100 basins in 50 countries around the world.

Mr. Roberts is a petroleum engineer with over 30 years of industry experience, focusing on A&D with firms including Randall & Dewey, Madison Energy Advisors, The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse, and most recently his own advisory services firm. He started his career in the oil and gas industry as a petroleum engineer with Amoco Production Company, where he successfully leveraged his energy engineering background and transitioned into energy banking and finance. He will be based in Houston and will report to Jon Marinelli.
