BMO Bank of Montreal today announced plans to construct a state-of-the-art, 5,000 square foot branch on a new site in the Halifax Shopping Centre Annex located on Mumford Road.
“We are excited and proud to share this investment of more than $1.4 million with our customers and the citizens of Halifax,” said Trevor Green, Vice-President for Nova Scotia at BMO Bank of Montreal. “Our new branch, equipped with the latest technology, will be staffed by a team of 19 highly experienced banking professionals who will offer our customers a broad range of banking and specialized financial services, highly personalized service and integrated financial solutions.”

Construction of the new branch will begin shortly and the official opening is set for mid-August 2003. At that time, the West End Mall and Novalea Drive branches of BMO Bank of Montreal will be amalgamated into the new branch.
