BMO Bank of Montreal today officially opened a state-of-the-art, 5,000 square foot branch in the Halifax Shopping Centre Annex located on Mumford Road. This follows the opening of four BMO In-Store branches in Sobeys stores in the Halifax Regional Municipality in mid-August.
“We are excited about this significant enhancement to our branch network in HRM that will enable us to better serve our customers,” said Trevor Green, Vice-President for Nova Scotia at BMO Bank of Montreal. “Our new branch, equipped with the latest technology, is staffed by a team of 19 highly experienced banking professionals who will offer our customers a broad range of banking and specialized financial services, highly personalized service and integrated financial solutions.”
“This $1.4 million investment and the recent addition of four In-Store branches are proof of our commitment to grow our business in Halifax and to offer our customers added services and expertise under one roof, in convenient and easily accessible locations,” added Carol Snider, Senior Vice-President for Atlantic Canada at BMO Bank of Montreal.
The new Mumford Road Branch staff will include the following:

Customer service representatives dedicated to fast and friendly transactional services;

Financial service managers, who will meet with clients in private surroundings to advise them on made-to-measure financial solutions;

A team of dedicated commercial relationship managers to fully service the needs of the business community, and;

A financial planner and an investment advisor from BMO Nesbitt Burns who will deliver top-tier wealth management and investment services.
Customers’ access to financial services will be expanded and enhanced in several ways, including:

Extended and convenient hours which will include Saturday openings;

Two Instabank Extra automated banking machines, accessible 24 hours a day, as well as a drive-thru automated banking machine enabling customers to bank from the comfort of their cars;

A Resource Café to constantly provide customers with the latest information relative to their financial needs, and;

An extensive, easily accessible customer parking area.
