BMO Investments Inc. Receives Securityholder Approval to Proceed with BMO Mutual Fund Mergers  

 

BMO Investments Inc. today announced that at securityholder meetings held on November 10, 2003, it received approval to proceed with the mergers of 13 BMO Mutual Funds.

Effective November 28, 2003, the following mutual funds will be merged:

  • BMO Far East Fund and BMO Latin American Fund will be merged into BMO Emerging Markets Fund
  • BMO RSP Japanese Fund, BMO RSP European Fund, BMO RSP Global Financial Services Fund and BMO RSP Global Balanced Fund will be merged into BMO RSP International Index Fund
  • BMO RSP Global Opportunities Fund, BMO RSP Global Health Sciences Fund, BMO RSP Global Technology Fund and BMO RSP Nasdaq Index Fund will be merged into BMO RSP Global Science & Technology Fund
  • BMO Global Financial Services Class, BMO Global Health Sciences Class and BMO Global Technology Class will be merged into BMO Global Opportunities Class.  After completion of the merger, BMO Global Opportunities Class will change its name to “BMO Global Equity Class”.  All of these funds are part of BMO Global Tax Advantage Funds Inc., a mutual fund corporation.
