BMO Investments Inc. Announces Deferral of Decision to Appoint New Investment Advisor  

 

BMO Investments Inc. today announced that it is deferring the decision to appoint AllianceBernstein Institutional Investment Management, a unit of Alliance Capital Management L.P., as the investment advisor for BMO Emerging Markets Fund and for BMO Japanese Fund.  This appointment was originally scheduled to be effective on December 1, 2003.

J.P. Morgan Fleming Asset Management will continue to serve as the investment advisor for these funds for the interim period.

"We believe this decision is in the best interests of unitholders at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation closely," said Ed Legzdins, President and CEO, BMO Investments Inc.
