BMO Bank of Montreal will celebrate the Grand Opening of its branch in Pickering West in Ontario by presenting a cheque for $5,000 to The Community Foundation of Durham Region at an event to be held on Saturday, June 19, 2004.
"BMO Bank of Montreal has a long and proud history of partnership with Canada’s communities,” said Mike Leggett, Area Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal. “Much has changed over the years, but not our desire to support the financial health and well-being of the places where we live and do business. Our support of The Community Foundation of Durham Region’s 10th Anniversary Gala, and our coverage of the marketing costs for an information outreach program for the Foundation, will help create further awareness throughout Durham Region of the benefits and capabilities of this important organization.”
In addition to the community donation, the opening ceremonies will also feature an appearance by Wendel Clark, former captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, whose presence will thrill fans as he signs autographs.
The new full service BMO Bank of Montreal branch is located at the corner of Whites Road and Highway Two. The branch will be staffed by 15 employees who have both the expertise and the ability to ensure that customers have complete access to BMO Bank of Montreal’s full line of financial products and services.
