Harris Nesbitt Hires Veteran Investment Banker for Healthcare Group  

BMO Bank of Montreal today announced it is changing fixed residential mortgage rates effective December 9th, 2004. The new rates are:

Harris Nesbitt, the U.S. investment banking arm of BMO Financial Group, announced today the hiring of James Love as a Managing Director in its Healthcare Group where he will be responsible for strengthening the firm's advisory practice in this burgeoning sector.

A veteran investment banker, with significant industry experience, Mr. Love joins Harris Nesbitt from MTS Health Partners in New York, were he was a Partner responsible for developing new investment banking relationships and assisted in the management of the firm's private equity fund. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Medical Manager Corp. (now WebMD Corp.) where he was responsible for the company's finance, treasury, tax and corporate development functions.

Prior to that, Mr. Love spent 15 years with Merrill Lynch & Co. where he was a Managing Director responsible for developing investment banking relationships with numerous Fortune 500 companies. While at Merrill, Mr. Love also assisted in the management of the investment banking division and headed its Healthcare Products Group. Mr. Love earned an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business and an A.B. from Brown University.

Mr. Petito commented that Harris Nesbitt will continue to add to its Healthcare Group, as well as to other areas of its investment banking business. Other recent senior appointments announced by the firm include Jeff Hamilton (Energy & Power), Geoff Belsher (M&A), Robert Barnett and Steven Steinberg (Commercial & Industrial) and Carlos Conde (Equity Capital Markets).
