Join local professional and junior golfers, BMO Financial Group, the Royal Canadian Golf Association and the Downtown Halifax Business Commission at Grand Parade to kick-off
Following brief remarks from senior officials with the BMO Financial Group Canadian Women’s Open, Jocelyne Bourassa, the only Canadian to ever win a Canadian Women’s Open, will talk about the Canadians playing in this year’s Open and what to expect tournament week.
After the briefing, media are invited to swing their way through a series of skill-testing games with some expert advice from local pros and young golfers from the BMO Financial Group Future Links Junior Golf program. There will also be live music, featuring Evans & Doherty with Dave McIssac, and a BBQ lunch will be served up by guest chefs, including Halifax Mayor Peter Kelly.
