    Media / Photo Advisory BMO Ontario Employees Kick Off 2006 Fundraising Campaign; Aim to Top the $5.3 million Raised for Local Charities in 2005  

    Join more than 400 BMO Financial Group employees, volunteers from BMO’s Employee Foundation – Fountain of Hope, James K. Bartleman, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and jazz singer Shannon Maracle for the official kick-off of the 2006 fundraising campaign.

    4:00 pm - 2006 Campaign Kick-off

    • James K. Bartleman, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will speak about the three priorities for his mandate: to reduce the stigma of mental illness, to fight racism and discrimination, and to encourage aboriginal young people
    • BMO executives will help kick-off the campaign:
      - Maurice Hudon, Senior Executive Vice-President, Group Development, BMO Bank of Montreal and BMO Fountain of Hope Executive Ambassador

      - Gilles Ouellette, President and Chief Executive Officer, Private Client Group, BMO Financial Group
    • Live music featuring jazz singer Shannon Maracle
      6:15 pm – Live Auction

    About BMO Fountain of Hope
    BMO Fountain of Hope is the national association of the employees and pensioned employees of BMO Financial Group, dedicated to supporting registered charities in their communities. All administrative costs are covered by BMO Financial Group; enabling 100 per cent of all monies raised to be donated to local charities. BMO Fountain of Hope raised close to $8 million nationally in 2005.
