World Figure Skating Champion, Victor Kraatz is the Honourary Chair of the BMO Financial Group Community Skates in support of Kids Help Phone in British Columbia.  Victor will host a Community Skate in Victoria where he will demonstrate his skating expertise with some young up-and-coming skaters from the B.C. national team.

WHEN:SATURDAY, April 1^st, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

WHO:               Victor Kraatz, with partner Shae-Lynn Bourne, won ten Canadian ice dance titles and the world title in 2003. Victor will be joined by a member of the B.C. senior figure skating team, along with young skaters from the B.C. national team.

WHAT:             The general public and figure skating fans will be treated to a skating demonstration from Victor and other young skaters. They are invited to skate with him while raising funds for Kids Help Phone.  Hot chocolate, cookies and a draw for prizes will make this a fun, family event. Entry by donation.
