BMO Bank of Montreal Opens Fifth Branch in Vaughan to Meet the Needs of Growing Region
BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the opening of its fifth full-service retail banking branch in the community of Vaughan, Ontario. Located at 3737 Major Mackenzie Drive, the new branch will serve the rapidly expanding North Woodbridge area in one of Canada's fastest growing cities.
The new BMO branch is staffed with 12 full and part-time employees who will provide a full breadth of retail banking, wealth management and financial planning expertise.
“This is a fantastic location,” said Bruce Williams, District Vice-President, BMO Bank of Montreal. “We're conveniently located at the intersection of Major Mackenzie Drive and Weston Road, and with our extended banking hours, getting to and from the branch, whether from home or work, is going to be very easy for our customers.”
The new BMO branch will remain open until 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and until 8 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, something Williams said will especially appeal to a large segment of customers who like to do their banking during the week.
“We're open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well, but our extended weekday hours are ideally suited for anyone who prefers to zip into the branch on their way home from work,” he noted
Special convenience features of the new branch include:
- Extended banking hours for customer convenience (Monday to Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.);
- An in-branch automated banking machine (ABM) and a drive-through ABM, which provide access to accounts and information 24 hours a day, seven days a week;
- Full wheelchair accessibility;
- Customer Service Representatives;
- Financial Service Managers;
- A Mortgage Specialist;
- A Financial Planner;
- Investment and Retirement Planning Services; and

The new branch complements the existing network of branches in Vaughan located in Maple and Woodbridge, as well as those branches at the intersections of Weston and Steeles, and Jane and Langstaff.
