BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the opening of a new Commercial Banking Centre in the Southwestern Ontario city of Cambridge.  The bank also announced the reopening of its personal banking branch on Hespeler Road following a substantial renovation.  The two projects represent more than $1 million in new BMO investments in the community.

The new BMO Commercial Banking Centre, located at 44 Main Street in the thriving downtown core of Cambridge, now provides the community's small and mid-sized businesses with more convenient access to a full range of financial products and services at one location.   BMO's Cambridge-based Commercial Account Managers, Cash Management Manager, Harris Private Banking Consultant, Commercial Banking Area Manager and Manager of Commercial Support Service Resources who were previously located at separate branches across the region, will now all be located at this new centre.

“It's exciting to be able to house all of our local commercial banking managers and specialists under one roof,” said Ed Allinott, Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal.  “Our business customers will find that the centralized location and commercial focus of this location will greatly improve their access to a broad range of financial products and specialized commercial advisory expertise.”

In addition, BMO's retail branch in Cambridge, located at 600 Hespeler Road has undergone extensive renovations and has now reopened with a full team of 19 professional staff.  The new BMO banking team, under the leadership of Branch Manager, Heather Cooper, includes Financial Service Managers, Financial Planners and a BMO Nesbit Burns resident advisor.

Among the features of the revitalized Hespeler Road branch are three new state-of-the-art Automatic Banking Machines, including a drive-through ABM for additional customer convenience.
