BMO InvestorLine Launches New Research and Performance Tracking Tools to Help Investors Save Time and Make Better-Informed Decisions

In response to growing investor demand for online tools and services that will help them save time and make better-informed decisions, BMO InvestorLine has introduced industry-leading analyst recommendations and reports and more robust performance measurement tools.

In addition, clients can now access in-depth information and analysis on stocks from S&P research reports on more than 5,300 Canadian and U.S. companies.  For ease of use, analyst information is also linked and tailored to the client's portfolios and watch-list selections.

Fundamental Data from GlobeInvestorGold

Clients also have access to comprehensive fundamental data for more than 9,000 North American companies, updated daily.  The data includes:

       Company profiles

       Estimates and financials with annual and quarterly balance sheets and income statements

       Annual cash flow statements and annual ratios. 

Benchmark Comparison Summary

Clients can now compare their personal portfolio performance against nine key indices:

       CDN T-Bills

       DJIA in Canadian dollars

       MSCI World in Canadian dollars

       Russell 2000 in Canadian dollars

       S&P TSX 60

       S&P500 in Canadian dollars

       S&P/TSX Composite Index

       SCM Bond Universe, in U.S. and Canadian dollars.

Comparisons can also be made on the basis of four different time frames: year-to-date, last 12 months, last 3 years and since inception.

In addition to these enhancements, BMO InvestorLine has launched an eCurriculum series of educational emails that gives clients specific insights about how to administer their account, and how to access the tools, resources and support that are available - empowering them to successfully manage their investments.
