NHL Alumni Face-Off Against Buffalo Sabres Alumni at Hamilton Mountain Arena

What:
More than 2,200 hockey fans to cheer on their favourite alumni hockey players at the first game of the 2006-07 NHL Alumni Hockey Tour sponsored by BMO Financial Group.

Young local hockey players will accompany the players onto the ice before the opening face-off and will be helping out behind the benches during the game.

The ‘BMO Hero of the Game' will participate in the ceremonial puck drop. The 72 year-old local resident will be honoured for his volunteer and charitable work in the Hamilton community.

Proceeds from this game will benefit Help A Child Smile, a local charitable organization dedicated to helping children who have cancer.

Who:
Alumni hockey heroes and greats of the game will participate as players and guest coaches.
‘Hall of Famers' Andy Bathgate and Harry Howell, as well as John Miszuk, Stan Jonathan, Mike Pelyk, Mark Napier, Gary Leeman and many other fan favourites will be in attendance.
