BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (TSX, NYSE: BMO), today announced the hiring of Michael Vinciquerra, Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst.
In his new role, Mr. Vinciquerra will cover Specialty Finance companies expanding the coverage that BMO Capital Markets provides to its clients of the U.S. Financial Institutions sector.
Mr. Vinciquerra joins the firm's Financial Institutions Equity Research group comprising five senior analysts. The team currently covers more than 70 public companies, including regional and small-/mid-cap banks as well as specialty finance companies and real estate income trusts (REITs). Based in Atlanta, Mr. Vinciquerra will focus on securities companies.

Mr. Vinciquerra joins BMO from Raymond James, where he covered Specialty Finance for the past eight years. During that time, he was twice recognized in The Wall Street Journal's Best on the Street Survey for his research coverage of the financial services industry. Mr. Vinciquerra earned an MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business in North Carolina. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Mr. Vinciquerra is joined by two research associates both formerly of Raymond James: Joseph Edelstein, who holds a BSBA from the University of Arkansas, and Jillian Dungan, who holds an MA from the University of Chicago and a BA from Johns Hopkins University.
The other members of BMO Capital Markets' Financial Institutions Equity Research team include Paul Adornato, Richard Anderson, Lana Chan, David Chiaverini and Peter Winter.
