BMO Bank of Montreal continues to grow its presence in the Ottawa region with the opening today of its newest retail branch at 4392 Innes Rd. and 10th Line in Orleans.
BMO opened its first branch in Ottawa in 1842 and now provides customers with a full range of retail banking and investment management services from 23 branches located across the region.
“Our objective is to provide every one of our customers with a better banking experience each and every time they walk through our doors,” said Holly Landry, Branch Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal. “Our customers can be sure they will be met by a professional ready to have a meaningful financial discussion that begins and ends with their needs.”

The new 6,000 sq. ft. bilingual branch is staffed by 16 banking and investment professionals. BMO's customers in Orleans will benefit from:
- A highly experienced team of in-house experts – including personal and commercial banking account managers, a Financial Planner, a BMO Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor, and a Mortgage Specialist;
- Ample parking for BMO customers;
- Full wheelchair accessibility;
- Two Instabank Extra automated banking machines (ABM), including a drive-through ABM;
- A flexible key pad security shield and special viewing screen on every ABM to increase privacy and prevent customer PIN numbers from being observed by others;
- A ‘fast cash' option that dispenses a preset $40 from your chequing account with just a single prompt; and
- The ability to make up to five deposits in a single transaction and consolidate that information on a single receipt.
BMO's Innes Rd. branch will open for business on Monday, March 26, 2007 and operate:
- 9:30 am to 5:00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays;
- 9:30 am to 8:00 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays;
- 9:30 am to 6:00 pm on Fridays;
- 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays.
BMO will hold an official ribbon cutting ceremony in the branch at noon on Saturday, April 28, 2007 to celebrate the grand opening.
