BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the opening of a new full service branch in Edmonton at the corner of Ellerslie Road and 111 Street SW. The Ellerslie Road Branch, with an investment of $1.5 million by BMO, is in a growing residential and commercial area at the south end of the city.
“In setting our business strategy for the coming years we identified this high traffic, commercial and residential hub as one of the best locations in the city to expand our banking business. We are confident that by offering our customers and prospective clients the best staff, products and services in this area, they will quickly conclude that BMO Bank of Montreal is the only financial institution they will ever need,” said Grant Bennett, Vice President, Edmonton District, BMO Bank of Montreal.
The new 5,000 sq. ft. branch will have a staff of 12 banking and investment professionals.
Customers at the BMO Ellerslie Road Branch will benefit from:
- An experienced and enthusiastic team of in-house personal banking experts including a financial planner;
- Access to commercial banking managers, a mortgage specialist, BMO Harris Private Banking representatives and BMO Nesbitt Burns investment advisors;
- Two Instabank Extra automated banking machines (ABMs), including a drive-through ABM;
- Ample free parking for BMO customers;
- And full wheelchair accessibility.
Branch hours of operation are:
- 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays to Wednesdays;
- 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays;
- And 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
