BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (NYSE, TSX: BMO), announced today the hiring of Keith Bachman as a Senior Research Analyst for its U.S. Equity Research team. As part of the Technology & Telecommunications group, Mr. Bachman will cover the Enterprise Hardware & Imaging sectors, a new area of focus for BMO Capital Markets.

In the 2006 Institutional Investor's “Best Analysts of the Year” survey, Mr. Bachman was named a runner-up in the IT Hardware category. Most recently, Mr. Bachman was a Senior Research Analyst at Banc of America Securities. Previously, he was an equity analyst at SAC Capital, ABN Amro and WR Hambrecht where he covered Enterprise Hardware & Storage, Electronic Manufacturing Service, and IT Channels of Distribution. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bachman worked in strategic planning for both Hewlett-Packard and Morrison Knudsen. He earned a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He holds a CFA designation.
