BMO Bank of Montreal Celebrates the Re-Opening of its Newly Expanded Stone Road Mall Branch with Donation to Junior AchievementCustomers now have access to extended hours

BMO Bank of Montreal will donate $2,000 to Junior Achievement to celebrate the $1.5 million major renovation and re-opening of its full-service branch in Guelph, Ontario.

BMO is announcing the donation at its expanded 7,000 square foot branch at 435 Stone Road West during a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 25, at 11:00 a.m. The donation will help fund Junior Achievement (JA) programs dedicated to educating and inspiring young people about business and economics. The JA experience helps young people discover leadership, entrepreneurial and workforce readiness skills so they can achieve their highest potential.

“This grand re-opening celebration provides a wonderful opportunity to welcome customers to their new branch, meet neighbours and to show our appreciation and support for the organizations that mean so much to the well-being of our community,” said Kelley McCracken, Branch Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal.

“Customers of the Stone Rd. Mall branch will be welcomed from Monday to Saturday by 25 experienced financial services professionals and investment specialists who can provide clear financial advice and solutions to help them make the right decisions with their money.”

Features of the renovated branch include:

  • An expanded team financial services professionals offering banking services;
  • Offices where clients can have financial discussions in private;
  • Personal and Commercial banking specialists;
  • A financial planner;
  • A mortgage specialist;
  • Three ABM machines for after hours service; and
  • On-site parking facilities and full wheelchair accessibility.

The Stone Rd. Mall branch will offer extended weekday hours – from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 9:30 am to 8:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays; 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays.

BMO Bank of Montreal has been serving customers in Guelph since 1845, and today operates three bank branches in the city.
