BMO Bank of Montreal Supports Yaletown Growth with New $1.4 Million Branch

BMO Bank of Montreal today opened a new $1.4 million full-service branch in Yaletown to serve the banking and financial needs of the 12,000 residents and over 1,000 businesses in this thriving area of downtown Vancouver.

Customers will have access to a full complement of retail and commercial banking experts in the new BMO branch located at 1004 Hamilton Street. The branch is located in a two-storey, 5,100 sq. ft. building that was constructed in 1910 and rebuilt in 1971 following a fire, reusing the original main level structure and heavy timber beams for the second floor.

“Our decision to renovate this historic building and open a state-of-the-art branch demonstrates our commitment to meeting the financial needs of local consumers and to foster the growth of Yaletown,” said Rob Serraglio, Vice President, Personal Banking for BMO Bank of Montreal in Greater Vancouver. “Our objective is to provide every one of our customers with a better banking experience each and every time they walk through our doors,” added Mr. Serraglio.

“Our customers can be sure they will be met by a professional ready to have a meaningful financial discussion that begins and ends with their needs,” added Branch Manager, Derek Hsia. Customers will also have access to wealth management expertise from BMO Nesbitt Burns and BMO Harris Private Banking.

To offer greater customer convenience, this branch features two ABMs, wheelchair access, as well as extended hours, including on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

BMO Bank of Montreal is a member of BMO Financial Group, one of the largest financial services providers in North America.
