The Paley Center for Media has today named BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (NYSE, TSX: BMO), as the exclusive sponsor of its Boardroom Luncheon series which begins this week.

The prestigious program is hosted by the Paley Center's Media Council, a unique forum where top industry executives, thinkers, and influencers gather to discuss and define the future of media and its role in society. In this rapidly evolving industry, the Paley Center Media Council is both a catalyst and a neutral facilitator of debate about crucial issues that span all areas of the media industry, including technology, creative content and journalism.

Held in the Paley Center's boardroom in New York City, the luncheons are organized for the benefit of the Media Council members – senior executives and key decision-makers in media companies and related industries, who are visionaries in their own right.

Funding for 2007/2008 Boardroom Luncheon program is provided by BMO Capital Markets.

“We are honored to sponsor the Paley Center, a pioneering innovator in the industry who shares the same focus as BMO Capital Markets on being proactive, creative and forward thinking advisors to the Media industry,” said Todd Freeland, Managing Director and Head of the BMO Capital Markets U.S. Media, Communications & Technology Group.
