BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (NYSE, TSX: BMO), has hired veteran analyst Dave Shove to the firm's U.S. Healthcare Equity Research Group.
Based in New York, Mr. Shove will cover managed care companies and other healthcare service providers. He is joined by associate Jennifer Lynch.

For the past 14 years, Mr. Shove has been a sell-side analyst covering healthcare, most recently with the Prudential Equity Group/Vector Securities. He previously covered the healthcare industry at Nesbitt Burns Securities Inc. (a predecessor firm of BMO) and Fox-Pitt Kelton, both in New York. His experience in the healthcare industry includes working at MetLife, as a Senior Management Consultant, then at Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield, as the Director of Managed Care Development. Mr. Shove began his career at UNUM Life, where he was an attorney before becoming the Director of Strategic Planning. He earned his BA, summa cum laude, at the University of Southern Maine, and his JD at the University of Maine School of Law.
