    BMO Financial Group Receives Award of Excellence in Financial Reporting Recognized by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants

    BMO Financial Group received the Award of Excellence in Financial Reporting, at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' Corporate Reporting Awards luncheon today.

    The Award of Excellence in Financial Reporting goes to the best Annual Report among all contestants, regardless of industry sector.

    “We place a high value on our stakeholders -- especially our shareholders and customers -- being able to understand our operations, goals, values and financial performance,” said Tom Flynn, Executive Vice-President, Finance and Treasurer, and Acting Chief Financial Officer, BMO Financial Group. “We take pride in the recognition our approach to financial disclosure has received.”

    The Corporate Reporting Awards recognize excellence in financial and corporate reporting in Canada.

    BMO is a recognized leader for its financial disclosure and corporate governance. This is the 14th time in 15 years that BMO has received an award from the CICA recognizing its corporate reporting.
