BMO InvestorLine Rewards Their Clients for Completing a PlanClients can win 1,000 AIR MILES Reward Miles

TORONTO, May 16, 2008 – BMO InvestorLine has launched a new promotion that rewards their clients for filling out an Investor Profile.

BMO InvestorLine's Words of Financial Wisdom promotion calls on new and current clients to complete an Investor Profile — a 10 minute questionnaire designed to determine an investor's personality type. It is the first step in creating a customized investment plan to help enable them to make smarter investing decisions and those who complete it are automatically entered into a draw to win one of ten prizes of 1,000 AIR MILES reward miles.

Another benefit to planning and completing the Investor Profile is that BMO InvestorLine can learn more about their clients to effectively send them relevant, personalized information that may be of interest through MyLink.

“Online investing is accessible and achievable by all types of investors,” said Connie Stefankiewicz, President and CEO, BMO InvestorLine. “But successful online investing takes discipline, which simply means creating a plan and sticking to it.”

Ms. Stefankiewicz added that online investing is growing in popularity with more mainstream and long-term investors choosing to self-manage and direct some or all of their investments. According to Investor Economics, the online brokerage industry is expected to grow at a rate of 8.7 per cent, reaching $380 billion by 2016.

The second component of the promotion offers those who open an account with $100,000 in assets or more; or, who make a transfer to an existing account will receive 1,000 AIR MILES reward miles or a BMO Corporate MasterCard preloaded with $200. Contest details are available at www.bmoinvestorline.com/wordsofwisdom.
