    TORONTO, December 18, 2008

    WHAT: BMO Employee Charitable Foundation will present a total of $50,000 to more than 40 different charitable organizations across branches in the Greater Toronto Area.
    WHY: Especially with the economic downturn, charitable organizations may have an increased need for additional financial support this holiday season. Non-profits receiving gifts from BMO include shelters, food banks and children 's organizations.
    WHEN: Friday, December 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
    WHO: Branch staff, various charitable organizations ' representatives and local dignitaries.
