New Investment Advisor Appointed to GGOF American Equity Fund Ltd.
TORONTO, December 18, 2008 – Guardian Group of Funds Ltd. today announced that, effective March 18, 2009, it is appointing Harris Investment Management Inc. as portfolio advisor for GGOF American Equity Fund Ltd., replacing Lazard Asset Management (Canada) Inc.
Harris Investment Management Inc. began managing money over 100 years ago and had approximately USD $16.9 billion in assets under management as of July 31, 2008. Harris is a wholly-owned, indirect subsidiary of BMO Bank of Montreal.
