Chicago, January 16, 2009 – BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group announced today that it has hired Tom Krasnewich as a Managing Director in its US Industrials practice based in Chicago.
Tom brings over 15 years of investment banking experience working with corporate and private equity clients focused on the industrials sector.
"Our clients will greatly benefit from Tom's deep sector knowledge and many years of deal experience in the industrial space. Further, his longstanding relationships with the private equity community will be a tremendous asset to our firm. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Tom was a Managing Director in the Industrials Group for Deutsche Bank Securities in Chicago targeting middle market advisory and financing transactions. He has also held positions at Stern Stewart and Company and Smith Barney. Tom earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University.
