BMO Hosts Launch of WEConnect CanadaOrganization dedicated to supporting women-owned businesses

TORONTO, April 24, 2009 – BMO Financial Group will host a breakfast to launch WEConnect Canada: a new Canadian non-profit organization that works to connect firms that are at least 51 per cent owned, managed and controlled by women with the growing corporate and public sector demand for diverse suppliers.

An affiliate of WEConnect International, the Canadian group will partner with corporations, associations, governments, women entrepreneurs and their supporters to accelerate the growth of women-owned businesses across the country. BMO is proud to be a founding corporate member of WEConnect Canada.
