United Way Toronto to launch campaign with special announcement from BMO

TORONTO, September 14, 2009 – United Way Toronto President Frances Lankin will join Bill Downe, President and CEO of BMO Financial Group and 2009 Chairman of the Campaign Cabinet for United Way of Greater Toronto, at First Canadian Place to launch United Way's 2009 campaign — and deliver a significant announcement from BMO about United Way's Building Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy.

Lankin and Downe, the Chair of United Way Toronto's 2009 campaign, will also reveal United Way's campaign goal.

The event will highlight United Way member agencies that are on the front-lines of United Way's work in the community and will feature lively musical entertainment from these agencies.
